Just returned from a 3700 mile trip photographing and taking video of sage grouse, sharp tailed grouse, and prairie chickens at their different leks (gathering places)for the courting and mating. Had a great time. We were fortunate to have sunny days and lots of birds. We met some wonderful, helpful people along the way. (1) painted turtles, (2) male prairie chicken, (3) sandhill cranes flying at sunset, (4) sharp tailed grouse walking high wire, (5) snapping turtle crossing highway, (6)(7) sharp tailed grouse fighting.
